This easy vegan recipe will spice up your life,it’s healthy in every way and only takes minutes to prepare. This recipe came about because I was trying to make a classic Trinidadian Chow. However that didn’t work out. I added garlic to this recipe the first time I made it and that was a yuck. I have come to realize that I don’t like garlic in my chows.
I have also come to realize that I don’t like shado beni which is a leafy herb that has the same flavor as cilantro. I don’t have the kind of taste-buds that allow me to enjoy this herb. It tastes like soap. So creating an authentic chow wasn’t going to happen.
Instead I made a fresh, spicy fruit salad. Papaya is such a great fruit. It’s full of vitamins that are great for diabetics, menstrual pain and eyes. I love when I’m eating more fruits and vegetables. I know that this recipe will help you on your healthy journey as well.
